Rental Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all vehicle rentals arranged with EuroRent24, Rruga Nacionale Rinas, Tirana International Airport, Albania. By completing a booking, you agree to these conditions.

1. Driver Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years. For premium and SUV categories: 23 years.
• Driving licence must have been held for at least 1 year.
• EU, UK, US and most international licences are accepted. An International Driving Permit is not required for short stays.
• Additional drivers are permitted free of charge and must present their licence at pickup.

2. Required Documents at Pickup

• Valid driving licence (original, not a copy)
• Passport or national ID card

Failure to present these documents at the agreed pickup time will result in the rental being cancelled without refund.

3. Pricing & Payment

• All prices are agreed in advance via WhatsApp or email. The agreed price is the final price — no airport surcharges, no hidden add-ons.
• Payment is made at vehicle handover in EUR, ALL or USD (cash or card).
• No deposit or credit card hold is required.

4. Rental Period

• The rental period begins and ends at the times agreed when booking.
• Early return does not entitle the renter to a partial refund.
• Extensions must be requested at least 6 hours before the agreed return time and are subject to vehicle availability. Additional days are charged at the agreed daily rate.
• Late returns beyond 1 hour without prior notice may be charged an additional day.

5. What Is Included

• Third-party liability insurance (TPL) as required by Albanian law.
• Collision damage waiver (CDW) reducing your liability for accidental vehicle damage.
• Unlimited kilometres — drive as far as you like.
• Airport pickup at Tirana International Airport (TIA / Rinas).
• 24/7 roadside assistance by phone or WhatsApp.
• Free additional driver (licence required at pickup).

6. What Is Not Covered

• Damage caused by driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Damage to tyres, rims, undercarriage or interior caused by negligent driving.
• Theft of the vehicle when left unlocked or with keys inside.
• Fines, tolls, or traffic penalties incurred during the rental.
• Damage resulting from off-road use on vehicles not specified for it.

Optional zero-deductible top-up coverage is available on request — ask us on WhatsApp at the time of booking.

7. Fuel Policy

Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned full. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refuelling fee equal to the cost of the missing fuel plus a €10 service charge applies.

8. Cross-Border Travel

Cross-border travel to neighbouring countries is permitted with advance notice:

• Permitted (with small green-card fee): Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Serbia.
• Notify us at least 24 hours before pickup so we can prepare the necessary insurance documents.
• Travel to countries not listed above must be agreed in writing prior to rental.

9. Driver Responsibilities

• The vehicle must be used only on public roads and in a manner consistent with traffic laws.
• Smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted. A cleaning fee of €50 applies.
• Animals may be transported only with prior approval.
• The renter is responsible for any fines, parking charges or toll fees incurred.
• Do not leave valuables visible in the vehicle.

10. Accidents & Breakdowns

• In the event of an accident, contact us immediately on +355 69 202 5377.
• Always call the Albanian police (tel: 129) and obtain a police report — this is required for any insurance claim.
• Do not admit liability or sign any documents at the scene without our guidance.
• In case of breakdown, contact us and we will arrange assistance or a replacement vehicle where possible.

11. Vehicle Condition

Both parties inspect the vehicle together at pickup and return. Any pre-existing damage is noted on the handover form. Damage discovered at return that was not noted at pickup is the renter’s responsibility and will be assessed at current repair market rates.

12. Cancellations & No-Shows

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the agreed pickup time.
• Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows may be subject to a fee equivalent to one day’s rental.
• If your flight is delayed, notify us by WhatsApp and we will hold the vehicle at no extra charge.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tirana, Albania.
